Hello all!
Asking for your help please!
I own a Golf 7R with a DQ500 DSG conversion.
Gearbox is from RS3 400 DAZA - gearbox code TCR.
I have an issue that is highlighted in the video below: -> at seconds 10 and seconds 31-33 in the below video.
Once the gearbox shifts down from D3 to D2, when the RPMs are around 1100 revs the gearbox disengages the gear, and then re-engages the gear, without reason.
This results in the needle bounce that you can see.
Revs drop from 1000 to idle and then re-engages it or COASTS until you hit the throttle pedal. Once you push the throttle pedal it will automatically re-engages.
I spoke to somebody who has a DAZA conversion on his car and he does the same thing on his car.
I have the software for the gearbox (TVS Engineering) and they are convinced that this is the first time they encounter this and it is not software related.
I confirm that this is the same when i was running STOCK Audi DSG software, so i believe them.
Please let me know, do your DAZA cars do this?
Is it 'normal' behavior?
If not, any ideas please?
Thank you!
